RugsUSA in New York, New York - Sheds like crazy!

"You may think you are getting a great deal, but they are also 60%+ off. We purchased two rugs, and since day one, they were shedding like crazy. I continued to vacuum a few times a week, then finally contacted support. I was told that this normal and may last up to 3 months (and it even says it on their FAQ). After 3 months, this was still happening, and you could see fibers on all of the other furniture in the room. I reached back out to support to see what else I could try and the only response I received was: "Unfortunately, you are outside of your return window. As such, unfortunately, a claim or return will not be accepted at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience." I was not looking for a return...I was just looking for a way to make it stop!! I have not gotten any responses since that message with other suggestions to fix the issue. Since this is happening on both of the rugs I purchased I have to assume it is not a defective rug, rather very low quality material. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for! I later learned that even Target has much better quality rugs for the same price. That would be my recommendation going forward.

We are having the same problem with shedding. They told me after 3 months it should stop.

To bad I was so excited about the low prices. Even though I wasn't expecting top quality, I didn't expect to have to vacumn and sweep our wood floors everyday. Try tapping your shoes and watch all the lint fly.

We mistakenly bought 3 rugs from them.

RugsUSA in New York, New York - Wouldn't take return after 20 day period

Rugs USA would not take return of Jaipur 9 x 12 rug which was dull colored, thin and scratchy textured retail $890. The rug was delivered to vacant house and not opened for a few months, therefore it was not inspected when recieved, and missed the 20 day return window. Rugs USA is totally inflexible, they would not even give partial credit or offer exchange, they were impossible to deal with!! The rug is in original packaging in factory condition. How many rug dealers let you look at a rug in your house for a week then take it back, lots!!!! The minute I opened this I knew I didn't want it, buyer beware. Sometimes we have circumstances in life and we expect people to understand, I can't throw $890 out the window because of Rugs USA inflexible customer service manger Sunita Kanhai has no idea of how to manage or service a customer!
