RugsUSA - Website Review from Madison, Wisconsin

We ordered a sale rug which was canceled. They stated it was a website pricing error and the vendor wouldn't honor it. If i wanted the rug i would have to pay over double the original price. I ordered another rug even though it was on back order and wouldn't arrive for a few weeks. It was also canceled due to being out of stock. I called multiple times with no help so finally sent them a very long email outlining the multiple problems I encountered. They emailed back with a generic "see our legal page" email. I have emailed back twice with no response. We have also yet to be refunded and are past the 3-7 business day refund period. It was a terrible experience all around.

RugsUSA - Shocking customer service, FAKE DISCOUNTS

My experience with Rugs USA has by far been the worst online purchase experience I've had. I had a rug on my "wish list" for our nursery that I had found months before, and I one day when I was browsing through the selection of Rugs on Rugs USA's website, I found the same one at 60% off (the website stated that this special was during the month of September, and the day I found it was on the 9th). I was so excited to find such a great deal on the rug I wanted, so I didn't hesitate to go through with my purchase. I completed the purchase, received my confirmation number and email and waited patiently over the next day or so to receive word from Rugs USA that my order had been shipped. After two days, I logged in to my account on the website to check the status of my order, and it still showed "processing" so I sent an email through their site asking about my order and when I could expect it. I immediately received an automated response saying that my email was received and someone would be contacting me shortly, however I heard nothing over the next 24 hours, so I emailed again...same thing. Finally four days after I had made my purchase, I went back on the website, logged into my account and found that my order had been deleted completely! I called Rugs USA and was informed that I needed to re-order, and the rug I wanted was no long discounted (even though it was the 14th of September, and the discount had originally been advertised as lasting till the end of the month!). I was really upset and asked the person I spoke with if I could speak to their manager, as they kept telling me that it was not their fault that my order didn't get processed for whatever reason (and by the way, this had nothing to do with my card not working!!). I was given an email address of the "manager" who I promptly emailed explaining my whole story from beginning to end and sent it hoping to receive a reply shortly. Instead, I received another automated email (even though I had sent this one to a personal email address) and after waiting for five days, still had no reply. I have since received 5 more "automated" replies with the subject reading "your case has been closed", with the following email: "It was our pleasure to assist you in resolving your case. We have now closed this case and hope that it was resolved to your satisfaction. If you have further issues with this case in the future, please reply to this email and we will do our best to continue to assist you." Needless to say, this was not only a huge disappointment considering I wasn't able to get the rug I wanted, but I also never heard back from an actual person in response to my many emails, and I wasted so much time trying to get to the bottom of this, but with no success. I would not recommend anyone purchase from this website...with poor customer service, false "specials" advertising, etc. it's not worth it! Beware.

I think i was watching the same rug. On Monday - the day before the Labor Day "80% off" sale - the rug was 1124.00 with 50% off making it 562.00.

During the so-called sale it was marked at 80% off, but the regular price was removed and the price was $450.00. Now today - the day after the sale - it's back to 50% off at 562.00. When i sent an e-mil all i gor was a reply theat said "We are adjusting our cost price to offer a larger discount." That doesn't make any sense at all when the PRICE is higher. Not the first time they've pulled this either.

They had a similar sale in the Spring and jacked up the base prices so they coyuld claim a high discount without changing the final price. Looks like it's intentional fraud, not a computer error.

RugsUSA in Tulsa, Oklahoma - One Month. No Rug.

I ordered three rugs on July 5-- and they haven't shipped yet. That's 24 DAYS I have been waiting for my rugs to process, not including actual shipping time. I called customer service-- no answer. I tried the chat feature. No Answer. I emailed asking for an update, and got an automated "We will ask the warehouse manager for an update, your dispute is resolved" email. Excuse me? My problem is far from resolved. This morning the status changed to "we have ordered shipping labels for your item". Congrats! You still have seriously mislabeled the 8-10 days of processing. *** company. To make it even worse, i posted a less than favorable review on the website... naturally it was deleted.
